Joplin Jailbirds Sign Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Commit to the Roster

LHP Evan Watson has signed to play summer ball with the Jailbirds

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Joplin Baseball has signed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi commit left-handed pitcher, Evan Watson. Watson is currently in his sophomore season with Johnson County Community College before joining the Joplin Jailbirds in May.

Previously competing in the KCCBL with Mac N Seitz Baseball Club, Watson earned himself a spot on the KCCBL 2025 All-Star team. Watson threw a 3.71 ERA with a 29 SO. Watson is currently competing in the NJCAA spring season. 

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
