Joplin Jailbirds Sign MSSU Pitcher for a Half Season

Kaylor Darnell  has signed to play in Joplin 

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Jailbirds sign local, Kaylor Darnell, from Missouri Southern State University. 

Darnell is a pitcher from Webb City, competing at Missouri Southern State University during the academic year. Darnell will join the Jailbirds for the first half of the season, gaining extra innings to bring back to MSSU this fall.

“We’ve added another Lion and local arm to this year's roster. Kaylor is a proven pitcher and we are excited for him to be a Jailbird this season,” shared Jailbirds General Manager, Donovan Harns

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
