Joplin Jailbirds Sign first player Austin Marsh

The Joplin Jailbirds sign Northwestern Missouri State Sophomore to the inaugural roster


JOPLIN, Mo. -- Joplin Baseball has signed Northwest Missouri State University sophomore Austin Marsh, their first player of the inaugural season. Marsh is an outfielder. 

Previously competing in the KCCBL with Mac N Seitz Baseball Club, Marsh earned himself 2025 Player of the Year and a spot on the KCCBL All-Star team. Marsh hit an average of 0.390 with 29 RBI. He will be ready to hit the field this summer with the Jailbirds.

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
