Joplin Jailbirds Sign Fayetteville Local to the Roster

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Jailbirds sign Fayetteville native, Jaison DeLamar, freshman at Iowa Western Community College to the first half of the summer season.

DeLamar debuted his first season with the Iowa Western Reivers building a .364 AVG and .563 OBP. DeLamar is back south for the summer and will be gaining a few more innings with the Joplin Jailbirds. 

“We are pumped to have Jaison join the flock this summer! He will be a contributor both on the mound and in the outfield for us!” shared Jailbirds Field Manager, Octavio Sanchez. 

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
