Jailbirds sign Mississippi Valley State University Pitcher to the Roster

Robert Page Jr. will be playing for the Joplin Jailbirds

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Jailbirds sign freshman pitcher, Robert Page Jr, from Mississippi Valley State University to join the team in Joplin this summer.

Page is competing in his first season with the Delta Devils building a .250 AVG. Page is another hardworking athlete, who will look to gain experience and continue building his game throughout the season.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know Robert, otherwise known as Snoop I’m told. His coaches at MVSU had great things to say about him and he will be a big arm for us this summer.” said Jailbirds Field Manager, Octavio Sanchez. 

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
