Jace Midgett signed with the 2026 Joplin Jailbirds

Freshman Catcher added to the roster for the Joplin Jailbirds summer season

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Joplin Baseball has signed freshman catcher, Jace Midgett, to the team. Jace returns to Joplin for another summer ball season. 

Previously competing at Columbus High School, Midgett batted a .200 avg, 8 RBIs, and drew 14 walks during the 24-25 season. Midgett is currently competing at Coffeyville Community College.

“I look forward to having Jace on this inaugural team,” stated Jailbirds GM, Donovan Harns. 

The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
