Hillcat Outfielder signs to play with Joplin Jailbirds
Jordan Tucker has signed to play in Joplin this summer
JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Jailbirds sign Rogers State University outfielder, Jordan Tucker. Tucker is a Minnesota native playing college baseball in Oklahoma, not too far from Joplin, MO.
This season with the Hillcats, Tucker built an impressive 1.18 ERA and .294 SLG%. Tucker wrapped up a record-breaking program season with the Hillcats and will be reporting to Joplin for the MINK League season to begin soon.
“(Tucker) is a reliable outfielder and stick at the plate. He will be a great addition for the Jailbirds’ roster this summer.” expressed Jailbirds GM, Donovan Harns.
The Joplin Jailbirds will debut in Kirksville on May 29th, and their season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd.
